戸部眞紀財団の給付型奨学金
趣旨
公益財団法人 戸部眞紀財団（以下、本財団）は、向学心に富み、学業優秀であり、且つ、品行方正である日本国内の学部学生及び大学院学生に対して、奨学金を給付することにより、将来有為なる人材を育成することを目的とします。
対象者
日本国内の大学及び大学院で、化学、食品科学（「食全般」に関する研究を対象とする）、芸術学／デザイン学、体育学／スポーツ科学、経営学（ビジネス・公共経営、マーケティング等）を専攻する学生
※ 給付対象期間（2025年4月1日～2027年3月31日）を通して日本国内の大学及び大学院に 在籍していること
※分野は在籍する学部・学科、研究科の名称に関わらず、対象分野のいずれかに関連する研究をしている方であれば、どなたでも応募できます。
学部学生（3年生以上）、大学院学生（修士課程、博士課程）
※ 専門職課程は研究論文、またはそれに相当する課題等が修了要件になっていることを条件とする。
年齢が2025年4月1日現在で30才以下の者
※ 育児・病気等、ライフイベントその他の理由によりやむを得ない事情を抱えている場合はその限りではない。
向学心に富み、学業優秀であり、且つ、品行方正である者
学資の支弁が困難と認められる者
奨学金を得ることで、学業や研究により一層の深化、発展が期待される者
※学部3年生以上であれば、学年に関わらず応募できます。最終年度等で1年間のみの給付を希望する方も応募できます。
※秋入学、留学等により給付対象期間が2年間に満たない方は、1年以上2年未満の期間で可とします。
※海外からの外国人留学生は私費留学の方に限ります。在留資格が「留学」の方のみ応募可能です。

ただし、他の高額な給付型奨学金との併用により、当奨学金の金額が半額となる場合があります。（他機関との合計が概ね200万円以上）
※ただし、日本学生支援機構が行う給付型奨学金、及び学費の免除等との併用の場合は、半額とはなりません。
※博士課程を対象とした公的な支援制度（JSPS 特別研究員、JST次世代研究者挑戦的プログラム）に採用された方につきましては、給付金額を半額（年額42万円）とさせていただきます。

【願書について】
願書には2025年度の学年を記入してください。
ページ数の増減や様式の変更は認めません。基本情報excelファイルについては小さいフォントの使用、及びページ数が増えない範囲で行の追加も可とします。
word願書は図表の挿入は自由です。願書は日本語で記入してください。採用後の連絡もすべて日本語で行います。
【添付書類等について】
在学証明書は2025年4月1日以降に取得した新学年の証明書を提出してください。願書には2025年度の学年を記入してください。
成績証明書は、学部学生は入学からの累計のもの、大学院学生は学部時代を含め前年度までの全成績証明書を提出してください（修士課程1年・博士前期課程1年は大学院の成績証明書は提出不要）。
編入者は編入前（高等専門学校や短期大学も含みます）の成績証明書も併せて提出してください。
留学生で原本の提出が困難な場合はコピーでも可とします。
住民票は、本人のみの記載で、本籍を省略したもので結構です。外国籍の方（永住者・留学生など）は、国籍・在留資格・在留期間・在留期間満了日の記載のあるものを提出してください。
学会発表及び論文投稿について、別紙にて一覧の添付を可とします。（記載例参照）
芸術分野の方は参考資料の添付を可とします。（但し、A4用紙3枚以内）
採用決定後に前年（1月～12月）の世帯収入がわかる令和6年度の所得（課税・非課税）証明書を提出していただきます。
願書2ページ目「年収」欄の金額と、所得証明書の金額との差異が大きい場合は、失格となる場合があります。
外国人留学生で所得証明書が入手困難な者はその限りではありません。
奨学生の義務
奨学生は、学期毎に成績証明書を、また各年度末（3月末）までに活動報告書及び在学証明書（又は卒業証明書／修了証明書）を理事長宛に提出しなければなりません。
※ 活動報告書を提出しない場合は、給付済奨学金の返還を求めます。
奨学生は隔月で奨学金振込日の概ね1ヶ月後までに奨学金受領書／近況報告書を提出しなければなりません。
※ 奨学金受領書／近況報告書を期日までに提出しない場合は、奨学金の給付を 停止又は廃止します。
採用者はホームページや本財団が発行する誌面等に、氏名、所属、学年、写真等が掲載される場合がありますので、予めご了承の上ご応募ください。
※奨学生は本財団が行う交流会に出席することが可能です。なお、出席は任意とします。

奨学金の金額と期間
《大学院学生》月額7万円（年額84万円）
《学部学生》 月額6万円（年額72万円）
期間は2025年4月1日より2027年3月31日までの2年間
※休学期間中は奨学金の給付を休止します。
※給付期間は2年間としますが、1年目における義務の履行状況、成績、研究の推進状況等によっては2年目の給付を停止または廃止する場合があります。
※給付期間終了後は2年間の実績等を審査し、給付期間延長を認める場合があります。
延長を含めた給付期間の合計は最長4年間とします。ただし、優れた実績を残した方には、審議の上、5年目以降も博士課程修了まで延長する場合があります。
給付の方法
奨学金は原則として、2025年4月からの4ヶ月分を7月に、以降は2027年2月まで、偶数月の一定日に2ヶ月分を直接本人に給付します。

奨学金の休止、停止、又は廃止
本財団が適当でないと判断した場合は、給付の休止、停止、または廃止を行います。

応募の流れ
申請者は当団体のホームページの「奨学金申請」より申請サポートシステムに入り、「申請の流れ」に従って基本情報を登録し、「マイページ」を取得してください。
マイページ内で必要項目を入力後、「提出」ボタンで申請してください。
「願書」及びその他の必要書類（押印が必要な書類は押印したもの）（住民票を除く）はすべてPDFにしてアップロードしてください。
書類の提出では、必ず「Web提出」と「郵送」の両方の手続きを行ってください。
※ 下記の書類は「Web提出」に加えて「郵送」も必要ですので、必ず原本をお送りください。Web提出後に通知される受付番号を、郵送用送り状の右上に記入の上、①～④を揃えて本財団宛に郵送してください。

Maki Tobe Foundation Scholarship
Purpose
The purpose of the Maki Tobe Foundation (hereafter referred to as “the Foundation”) is to provide scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students in Japan who are academically motivated, academically excellent, and of good conduct, in order to nurture talented individuals for the future.
Eligibility
Undergraduate and graduate students in Japan majoring in chemistry, food science (research related to “food in general”), art/design, physical education/sports science, business administration (business/public management, marketing, etc.).
Be enrolled in a university or graduate school in Japan throughout the period of eligibility (April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027) *Field of study is enrolled.
*Any student, regardless of the name of the faculty, department, or graduate school in which he/she is enrolled, may apply as long as he/she is conducting research related to one of the eligible fields of study.
Student Undergraduate (3rd year and above) and graduate students (master’s and doctoral programs)
Professional programs must have a research thesis or equivalent project, etc. as a requirement for completion.
Those whose age is under 30 as of April 1, 2025.
This does not apply to applicants who have unavoidable circumstances due to life events or other reasons, such as childcare or illness.
Applicants must be academically motivated, have an excellent academic record, and be of good conduct.
Those who are recognized as having difficulty in paying for their studies.
Those who are expected to further develop their studies and research by receiving the scholarship.
Students in their third year of undergraduate studies or above are eligible to apply regardless of their academic year. Those who wish to receive the scholarship for one year in their final year of study, etc. may also apply.
Those who are eligible for less than two years due to fall enrollment, study abroad, etc. may apply for more than one year but less than two years.
International students from abroad must be privately financed. Only those whose status of residence is “College Student” are eligible to apply.

However, the amount of this scholarship may be reduced by half when combined with other high-cost scholarships. (The total amount with other institutions is approximately 2,000,000 yen or more.)
However, the scholarship amount will not be reduced by half if it is used in combination with a scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) or a tuition fee waiver.
*For those who are selected for public support programs for doctoral programs (jsps special researcher, jst challenging program for next generation researchers), the amount of the scholarship will be reduced by half (420,000 yen).

Letter of Recommendation: In the format specified by the Foundation. Letter of recommendation from the president or department head (dean, graduate school dean, center director, etc.)
→The name and official seal of the president or dean must be affixed in the upper right-hand corner of the letter.
(Personal seals are not acceptable. Please inquire in case of other positions.
The faculty advisor’s signature and seal (or name and seal) must be affixed to the bottom column.
Be sure to affix both seals, the upper right column (seal of the president or other official) and the lower column (seal of the faculty advisor).
If the faculty advisor is the head of the department, the same person as in the upper right-hand column is acceptable.
*When submitting via the Web, please print out the letter of recommendation, affix your seal, and submit the scanned data (PDF).

About the Application Form
Please fill out the application form with the academic year of 2025.
No increase or decrease in the number of pages or changes in format will be accepted. For the basic information excel file, the use of small fonts and the addition of lines are acceptable as long as they do not increase the number of pages.
You are free to insert figures and tables in the word application form. Please fill out the application form in Japanese. All correspondence will be in Japanese.

Please submit a certificate of enrollment for the new academic year obtained on or after April 1, 2025. Please indicate the academic year of 2025 on the application form.
For transcripts, undergraduate students must submit the cumulative total since admission, and graduate students must submit all transcripts up to the previous year, including undergraduate years (first-year master’s students and first-year doctoral students are not required to submit transcripts for graduate school).
Transfer students should also submit transcripts from prior years (including high school and junior college).
If you are an international student and it is difficult to submit the original, a photocopy is acceptable.
The certificate of residence should be submitted in the applicant’s own name, omitting his/her permanent address. For foreign nationals (permanent residents, foreign students, etc.), please submit a copy that includes the following information: nationality, status of residence, period of stay, and date of expiration of the period of stay.
A list of conference presentations and paper submissions may be attached on a separate sheet of paper. (Refer to the example).
Applicants in the field of arts may attach reference materials. (However, please do not exceed 3 pages of A4 paper.)
After the decision is made, applicants will be asked to submit a certificate of income (taxable/non-taxable) for the 2024 fiscal year showing household income for the previous year (January-December).
If there is a large difference between the amount shown in the “Annual Income” column on page 2 of the application form and the amount on the income certificate, the applicant may be disqualified.
This does not apply to international students for whom the income certificate is difficult to obtain.
Obligations of Scholarship Students
Scholarship recipients must submit a transcript for each semester, and an activity report and certificate of enrollment (or graduation/completion certificate) to the President by the end of each academic year (end of March).
Failure to submit the activity report will result in the scholarship being returned. Scholars must submit a Scholarship Receipt/Status Report every other month, approximately one month after the scholarship payment date.
Recipients have a website and the Foundation. Please be aware that your name, affiliation, grade, and photograph may be published on the website and in magazines published by the Foundation.
Scholarship recipients may attend the Foundation’s social events. Attendance is optional.

Scholarship Amount and Duration
Graduate students》70,000 yen per month (840,000 yen per year)
Undergraduate》60,000 yen per month (720,000 yen per year)
The period is 2 years from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2027
*Scholarship benefits will be suspended during the period of leave of absence.
*The scholarship period will be two years, but the second year may be suspended or discontinued depending on the student’s performance in the first year, grades, progress in research, or other factors.
After the end of the two-year period, the scholarship period may be extended upon review of the scholar’s performance and other factors during the two-year period.
The total duration of the grant, including extensions, is limited to a maximum of four years. However, if the recipient has an outstanding record of achievement, after deliberation, the grant may be extended beyond the fifth year until the completion of the doctoral program.
As a general rule, the scholarship will be paid directly to the applicant in July for four months from April 2025, and two months on certain days of even-numbered months from 2027 onward until February.
(The funds will be deposited into a bank account in the applicant’s name.)
Suspension, Suspension, or Discontinuance of Scholarship
The Foundation will suspend, discontinue, or abolish the scholarship if it deems it inappropriate.
