ホリプロ文化芸能財団の給付型奨学金
目的
この奨学金は、株式会社ホリプロの創業者である堀威夫により2014年４月に設立された一般財団法人ホリプロ文化芸能財団が、我が国の文化芸能の振興を担う人材を育成するため、映画・音楽・演劇・テレビ番組などのエンターテインメントの製作に携わるプロデューサーや、タレントを発掘・育成するマネージャーを志す学生を支援することを目的とした給付型奨学金です。
対象者
卒業後は、映画・音楽・演劇・テレビ番組などのエンターテインメントの製作に携わるプロデューサー・演出家・ディレクターまたは、タレント・アーティストを発掘・育成するマネージャーなどを志す者
応募年度（2025年４月以降）において、本財団が指定する以下の大学又は専門学校に在学（休学者、大学院生を除く）する者で、大学生は第２・第３学年在籍者、短期大学生及び専門学校生は第２学年以降の在籍者とし標準修業年限とします。
心身ともに健康でかつ、志が高くコミュニケーション能力が優秀な者
国籍は問いませんが、日本語による意思伝達が十分に可能であり、各大学又は専門学校卒業後は日本国内のエンターテインメント業界で働ける者

選考・採用方法
■ 一次選考：書類審査 一次選考の合否に関しては、2025年5月12日（月）までに通過者のみメールにて通知します。
■ 二次選考：面接 面接予定日：2025年5月25日（日） ※都内会場での面接、又はZoom等を利用したWEB面接の予定です。
合格採用通知・第１１期奨学生認証式の案内 2025 年6月9日（月）《予定》までに、応募者が在学する大学又は専門学校より通知します。
※ 【第１２期奨学生認証式】を欠席されますと奨学生としての資格は失効することがありますのでご注意ください。 –
奨学生の義務
奨学生は毎年度末までに学業成績証明書を理事長宛に提出すると共に、活動計画申請書のフォローアップとして、６ヶ月毎に年２回、本財団が指定する書式の活動状況報告書を理事長宛に提出しなければなりません。
学業に励み、健康に注意して奨学生に相応しい態度と行動を取らなければなりません。
本財団の奨学金給付規程を守り、本財団及び大学の指示に従い必要な手続きを怠りなく行わなければなりません。
年２回程度行われる交流会等の行事に出席しなければなりません。 なお、実施の際は事前に通知いたします。
大学又は専門学校卒業後の進路について報告書を本財団宛に提出しなければなりません。
奨学金の停止
奨学生が休学し又は長期にわたって欠席した場合は、本財団の判断により、奨学金を停止することがあります。ただし、休学・欠席期間が６カ月を超えた場合については、次項を適用することがあります。
奨学金の打ち切り
奨学生が第１２項に規定する義務を怠った場合、または、次の各号の一に該当した場合は、本財団の判断により、奨学金を打ち切ることがあります。また、悪質な場合は本財団の判断により奨学金の返還を求めることがあります。
（１）傷病のため成業の見込みがなくなったとき （２）学業成績*1又は性行が著しく不良になったとき
（３）奨学金を必要としない理由が生じたとき （４）奨学生として適当でない事実があったとき
（５）在学する学校で停学等の学校処分を受けたとき （６）応募書類の記載事項に重大な虚偽が発見されたとき、また応募書類の重要な事項に変更が あった場合の届出義務を怠ったとき
（７）学業成績証明書・活動状況報告書等の提出を怠ったとき （８）退学・除籍となったとき
（９）休学・欠席期間が６カ月を超えたとき *1 学業成績の著しい不良とは、進級するために必要な常識的な単位数（原則として、必要な年間取得単位数の８割を判断基準とする）を取らなかった場合のことをいう。
進路について
本財団からの奨学金を受給することにより将来進路の束縛及び斡旋、又は進路変更による奨学金返済などは一切ありません。

奨学金の金額と期間
月額３万円
期間は採用時４年制大学の第２学年在籍者は2025年４月から２年間。採用時４年制大学の第３学年在籍者は2025年４月から１年間。短期大学生及び専門学校生は2025年４月から１年間。
６ヶ月分を指定月に、本財団が指定する金融機関に設けた本人名義の日本国内の銀行口座へ日本円で振り込みます。
なお、第１回目の支給は、2025年６月末頃に同年４月から９月までの６カ月分を振り込むものとし、２回目は６ヶ月分を１０月上旬に振り込みます。
支給期間が２年間の場合、翌年４月上旬及び１０月上旬にそれぞれ６カ月分を振り込みます。
※奨学金の利用目的として、原則、学費としての使用はできません。将来エンターテインメント業界で働くために必要な専門知識や技術の習得、情報収集など、実践的な活動の費用としてのみ利用可能
応募方法と期間
学校を通して応募します。学校への応募締切は学校によって異なります。025年４月下旬まで が多いようです。
提出課題
課題作文あり。
６００文字以内程度：指定様式 課題「エンターテインメント業界でどのような分野または職種を志し、その道のりにおいて奨学金をどのように活用しようと考えるか。」

HORIPRO Cultural & Performing Arts Foundation
Purpose
This scholarship was established in April 2014 by Takeo Hori, the founder of HORIPRO, Inc.The scholarship is intended to support students who wish to become producers involved in the production of entertainment such as movies, music, theater, and TV programs, and managers who discover and develop talents.
Eligible Students
Students who wish to become producers, directors, or directors involved in the production of entertainment such as movies, music, plays, and TV programs, or managers who discover and nurture talent and artists after graduation.
Applicants must be enrolled (excluding students on leave of absence and graduate students) at one of the following universities or vocational schools designated by the Foundation in the year of application (April 2025 or later).
Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, highly motivated, and have excellent communication skills.
Applicants can be of any nationality, but must be able to communicate effectively in Japanese and work in the entertainment industry in Japan after graduation from the university or vocational school.
There is no age limit.
Fields and occupations covered
Work related to the production of visual content such as movies, music, plays, and TV programs.
Producer, director, plan production, etc. Talent management work Manager of talents, artists, etc.

Combination of scholarships
It is possible to combine the scholarship with other scholarships.
Documents to be submitted
(1) Scholarship application form and a photograph of the applicant (taken within the last 3 months): designated form

Selection and Recruitment Method
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or rejection by e-mail by Monday, May 12, 2025.
Interviews will be held at a venue in Tokyo or via web interview using Zoom, etc.
Notification of acceptance and 11th scholarship certification ceremony Notification will be sent by the university or vocational school where the applicant is enrolled by Monday, June 9, 2025 (tentative).
Please note that your scholarship status may be revoked if you do not attend the 12th Scholarship Certification Ceremony. -Obligations of Scholarship Recipients
Scholarship Obligations
Scholarship recipients must submit an academic transcript to the President of the Foundation by the end of each academic year, and must also submit a biannual activity status report to the President of the Foundation in the form specified by the Foundation every six months as a follow-up to their activity plan application.
You must be diligent in your studies, take good care of your health, and behave in a manner befitting a scholarship recipient.
You must abide by the Foundation’s scholarship rules and regulations, and follow the instructions of the Foundation and the university without fail in completing the necessary procedures.
You must attend events such as social gatherings held approximately twice a year. You will be notified in advance of such events.
The scholarship recipient must submit a report to the Foundation on his/her future plans after graduation from the university or vocational school.
Suspension of Scholarship
If a scholarship recipient takes a leave of absence or is absent from school for an extended period of time, the scholarship may be suspended at the Foundation’s discretion. However, if the period of leave of absence or absence exceeds six months, the following paragraphs may apply.
Termination of Scholarship
The Foundation may, at its discretion, terminate the scholarship if the scholarship recipient fails to fulfill the obligations stipulated in Section 12, or if the scholarship recipient falls under any of the following categories. In addition, the Foundation may, at its discretion, require the return of the scholarship funds in cases of malicious conduct.
(2) When the student’s academic performance*1 or conduct becomes extremely poor.
(3) When there is a reason why the scholarship is no longer needed (4) When there is a fact that renders the student unsuitable as a scholarship recipient
(6) When a student is found to have made a material misrepresentation in the application materials, or when a student fails to notify the Foundation of a change in an important matter in the application materials.
(7) Failure to submit academic transcripts, activity reports, etc. (8) Expulsion from the school or expulsion from the program
(9) When a student is absent from school or absent for more than 6 months *1.
By receiving a scholarship from the Foundation, students will not be restricted in their future career paths, nor will they be required to repay the scholarship due to a change in career path.

Scholarship Amount and Duration
30,000 yen per month
The scholarship period is two years from April 2025 for students enrolled in the second year of a four-year college at the time of application. For students enrolled in the third year of a four-year college or university at the time of application, the scholarship will be awarded for one year from April 2025. For junior college students and vocational school students, one year from April 2025.
The six-month stipend will be paid in Japanese yen in the designated month to a bank account in Japan under the applicant’s name at a financial institution designated by the Foundation.
The first payment shall be made around the end of June 2025 for the six-month period from April to September of the same year, and the second payment shall be made in early October for the six-month period.
If the scholarship period is for two years, the first payment will be made in early April and early October of the following year for six months each.
In principle, the scholarship may not be used for tuition fees. The scholarship can only be used for practical activities such as acquiring specialized knowledge and skills necessary for working in the entertainment industry in the future, and gathering information.

Assignment
There is an essay assignment.
600 words or less: designated form. Assignment: “What field or occupation in the entertainment industry do you aspire to pursue, and how do you intend to use the scholarship to help you along the way?”
